Our Lake Doxa hiking route begins beside the lake and follows an accessible mountain trail through the surrounding fir forest. The ascent unfolds gradually, allowing the group to maintain a comfortable and steady pace.

We stop at Gogkakis’ shepherd shelter, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the lake and nearby mountains. The route then continues along an accessible dirt road, offering beautiful views across the Feneos Plateau.

The final section follows a gentle downhill trail, bringing us back to Lake Doxa, where our hike concludes.

After the hike, we board our coach for a short, approximately five-minute drive to the historic Monastery of Saint George of Feneos.
