🔶 Wine Tourism in Greece with Wanderlust

Wine tourism in Greece comes alive through experiences that connect place, taste, and hospitality. Wanderlust designs wine tours and tastings that start in the vineyard, continue alongside the winemaker, and culminate in the glass – each sip telling stories of people and land.

🔶 What a Wine Tourism Experience Includes

  • Walking through vineyards and meeting winemakers
  • Guided wine tastings by oenologists and sommeliers
  • Food and wine pairings with local flavors and culinary stories of each region
  • Cultural stops: monuments, living traditions, and hidden routes
  • Professional organization with a personal touch and authentic connection

Every tour aims at a deeper understanding of the Greek vineyard and the enjoyment of authentic wine moments.

Each grape variety represents a unique universe of taste and tradition; every visit opens a new chapter in the map of Greek wine.

🔶 The Team

At the helm is Tasos Konstantinidis, founder of Wanderlust Outdoor Activities & Travel and creator of the wine tourism project “On the Wine Trails”. With years of experience in events, winery visits, and specialized outdoor activities, he ensures each experience has structure, aesthetics, and substance. He is also currently studying in the Wine Professional & Sommelier program at Genius in Gastronomy.

Alongside him is oenologist Stamatina Flerianou (WSPC Level 2), with professional experience in Greek and French wineries. She curates the tastings so that terroir, winemaking techniques, and wine character are fully highlighted.

🔶 A Journey to the Birthplace of Wine

The journey has been enriched with experiences abroad. The founder traveled to Georgia, a country with 8,000 years of winemaking tradition. Among qvevri, family wineries, and wine rituals, he gained a deeper understanding of wine as culture and as a universal language – inspiration that carries into every Wanderlust activity.

  • Thanos Karathanos Distillery
  • Filia Gi Estate
  • Winery Monsieur Nicolas – Karamitros

🔶 Upcoming Wine Tourism Experiences

Each journey focuses on authenticity, hospitality, and the joy of Greek wine.

🔶 Wine Tasting Nights in Attica

The experience continues in the city. Wanderlust organizes wine tasting nights in selected wine bars across Attica, aiming at connection, knowledge sharing, and building a lively community of wine lovers. These evenings are held purely for the joy of wine and meeting people, without any financial profit for Wanderlust.

  • Agiorgitiko (Nemea): red fruits, spices, velvety texture.
  • Moschofilero (Mantinia): floral aromas, freshness of the plateau.
  • Assyrtiko (Santorini & mainland terroirs): minerality, intensity, purity.
  • Xinomavro (Macedonia): structure, complexity, aging potential.
  • Savatiano (Attica): historic variety with a modern identity.
  • Sklava (Peloponnese): rare and elegant, with unique aromatic character.

This list is only indicative. Each journey highlights new varieties, terroirs, and vineyards across Greece.
