Along the route, we visit Kratia Spring (730m) with its massive, ancient plane tree, where we stop to rest in the mountain shadow. As we descend, Cephalonian fir and pine trees give way to century-old plane trees, while the path crosses iron bridges and passes impressive rock formations.

The final section leads through dramatic towering cliffs as the gorge narrows, bringing us to the exit near the village of Agios Athanasios, where our hiking route finishes.
