Join us for the first summit of the Wanderlust Peaks Project with an authentic alpine hiking experience on Mount Dirfys, the highest peak in Evia.
Our hike begins at the Mihalis Nikolaou Mountain Refuge and leads us to the summit of Dirfys (1,743 m), enriched by myth-inspired storytelling along the way.
The route offers a striking mix of alpine landscape, rocky terrain, and panoramic Aegean Sea views, rewarding hikers with a peak-top moment that touches the sky.
Our return follows a lush trail through firs, strawberry trees, and chestnut forest, ending in the picturesque village of Steni.

According to Greek mythology, Dirfys was named after a nymph—daughter of Oceanus—who resides on its slopes. Hiking here means walking in the shadow of ancient myth and legend.
