Trekking With your Dog in Penteli

🔶 Activity Description

On Saturday, 01/11, Wanderlust invites you to a special trekking with your dog event in Northern Penteli. Our circular route starts from Dionysos, ascends to the Open Quarry Museum, and follows scenic forest paths along the northern slope.

Along the way, we will visit the small chapels of Agios Loukas and Agios Nikitas before continuing towards the Solinari spring and returning to Dionysos. This is a gentle hike, perfect to combine hiking and dog training in nature!

🔶 Dog Training Seminar

During the activity, a seminar will be held by professional dog trainer Petros Sidereas, with a Q&A session on proper dog behavior during hikes. Our cooperation with a certified trainer ensures safety for both participants and dogs.

Note: Hikers without dogs are also welcome to join.

🔶 Social Action

Two free spots are available for shelter dogs so they can enjoy a hiking walk. Volunteers from animal welfare associations are encouraged to contact us for participation.

🔶 Participation Guidelines

• Flexi leads and choke collars are not allowed
• Dogs should not be fed 6–8 hours before the hike
• Bring treats, water, bowl, favorite toy, and waste bags
• Valid health booklet is required
