Wanderlust Outdoor Activities & Travel and Genius in Gastronomy invite you to a premium wine tourism experience that showcases the Greek vineyard, local gastronomy and authentic hospitality through a unique three-day journey across Naoussa, Amyntaio and Goumenissa.

Over three days, we will travel through the heart of three of Northern Greece’s most important wine regions, discovering the world of Xinomavro and Negoska, meeting the people behind the labels and exploring the philosophy of leading Greek wineries. The itinerary includes visits to Kir-Yianni Estate, Alpha Estate, Kokkino Winery and Mikro Ktima Titos, combining guided winery tours, curated tastings and authentic experiences that connect wine with its place of origin.

Highlights of the journey include a special lunch inside the iconic Kir-Yianni Estate, selected bottles from Alpha Estate served with our lunch in Amyntaio, a guided tasting at Kokkino Winery, an introduction to the traditional tsipouro distillation still, and a memorable barbecue evening where we will cook together as one large group, accompanied by selected wines from the winery. The journey concludes in Goumenissa with a visit to Mikro Ktima Titos and lunch in the region, revealing yet another outstanding wine-producing area of Northern Greece.

Throughout the journey, the group will be accompanied by Giorgos Loukas, founder of Genius in Gastronomy, and Tasos Konstantinidis, certified Genius Wine Professional – Sommelier and founder of Wanderlust Outdoor Activities & Travel. By sharing their knowledge and experience, they will turn every visit and tasting into a complete wine tourism experience. The trip is designed for wine lovers as well as professionals in wine, hospitality, gastronomy and tourism.

🍇 Itinerary

Friday, 16 October | Naoussa

Arrival in Thessaloniki and meeting with the group at Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia”, the KTEL Macedonia Bus Station or Thessaloniki Railway Station.

Departure for Naoussa and check-in at Dellagio Hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit Kir-Yianni Estate, one of Greece’s most important wineries, where we will discover the estate’s philosophy, history and wines.

The experience includes:

🍷 Organised wine tasting.

🍷 A special lunch inside the winery, accompanied by selected labels from the estate.

Return to Naoussa and free time to explore the town.

Saturday, 17 October | Amyntaio and Naoussa

After breakfast, we depart for Alpha Estate in Amyntaio.

The visit includes:

🍷 Guided tour of the winery facilities.

🍷 Presentation of the estate’s philosophy and winemaking approach.

🍷 Organised tasting of selected labels.

We will then have time for lunch at a selected local tavern. During lunch, selected bottles from Alpha Estate will be served.

In the afternoon, we return to Naoussa and visit Kokkino Winery.

The visit includes an organised tasting of selected wines from the winery.

As a separate part of the experience, we will see the traditional distillation still up close and learn about the production process of traditional tsipouro, discovering another important aspect of the region’s local heritage.

The evening concludes with a special barbecue. We will light the grills and cook together as one large group, enjoying dinner accompanied by selected wines from the winery.

A relaxed and authentic evening filled with good wine, local flavours and the warmth of shared company.

Return to the hotel.

Sunday, 18 October | Goumenissa

After breakfast, we depart for Goumenissa.

We will visit Mikro Ktima Titos, where we will discover the winery’s philosophy and the distinctive character of the Goumenissa wine region.

The visit includes:

🍷 Presentation of the production process and local grape varieties.

🍷 Organised wine tasting.

We will then have time for lunch in the area, accompanied by selected bottles from the winery, chosen to pair with the local cuisine.

Your booking is confirmed with a €150 deposit, payable within two days of registration.

The payment schedule is as follows:

📌 Useful Information

• The trip will operate with a minimum of 21 participants. The maximum group size is 28 participants, preserving the personal and high-quality character of the experience.

• The participation price is based on accommodation in a double room.

• Solo travellers will share a double room with another participant of the same gender, creating a comfortable and pleasant stay for everyone.

• A single room may be available upon request, subject to availability, with an additional charge of €70. Please mention your request in the “Comment” field when submitting your booking.
