🔶 Mythology & History of Mount Elikonas

Mount Elikonas is one of the most mythical mountains in Greece. According to ancient Greek mythology, it was the home of the Muses — the goddesses of arts and inspiration. Here lies the famous Hippocrene spring, created when Pegasus struck the ground with his hoof, offering the gift of inspiration to humanity.

In ancient times, Elikonas was a place of worship and cultural significance, where poets and philosophers once walked. Even today, the sense of this timeless presence remains vivid throughout the route.
